Battle Beasts were one of the toys of the 80's that I was obsessed with. I had a liking for little toys, and these colorful beastmen were perfect. I could stuff them all into something small and cart them about. Until recently, I never had more than 33 Beasts. My earlier ones were acquired by an awesome Christmas present, some new in box ones, and cousins who'd watch out at yardsales for me. One of the yardsale finds was my first Laser Beast, and at the time I had no idea what he was. His symbol and armor said Battle Beast, but his unfamiliar look and durable symbol said something else. It wasn't until recently that I discovered Blue Eagle to be the first in a line of Laser Beasts.
I had the poster, growing up, and me and my friends would always dream about which Beasts we wished to own. Blitzkrieg bat was my ultimate favorite that I did have, but I always longed to own Killer Carp, and Triple Threat Snake. I eventually got TTS from a friend, and only recently did Killer Carp come into my collection. He's not a cool as the artwork made him seem, that's for sure.
Thanks to some lucky finds on Ebay, I've been able to add to my collection, to the point that I only need over a dozen weapons to finish it. Check out below for my collection and want list.
